Camomile has been traditionally used in western herbal medicine to relieve:
- symptoms of indigestion, abdominal bloating, flatulence
- digestive spasms, colic (wind pain)
- sleeplessness, nervous tension, restlessness, irritability
- teething / tooth pain & colic (wind pain) in children
- teething / tooth pain in healthy infants over 6 months of age
- skin inflammation (topical application).

Camomile has been traditionally used in western herbal medicine to relieve:

- teething / tooth pain in healthy infants over 6 months of age
- skin inflammation (topical application).
Active ingredient: Each teabag contains Matricaria Flower Dry (Matricaria chamomilla) 1.5 g
Teabags: Infuse 2 teabags (3 g) in 250 mL (one cup) of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes before removing teabags.
Take as follows:
Adults - drink 3 to 4 cups daily.
Children 6 to 12 years - drink 1 to 2 cups daily.
Children 3 to 6 years - drink 1 cup daily.
Infants 6 months to 3 years - 1 cup daily, give 5 to 10 mL of prepared dose every 30 to 60 minutes or as required throughout the day. There are no restrictions on duration of use.
Loose Leaf: Infuse 1-2 heaped teaspoons of Camomile flower in a cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes. Strain and drink several cups daily. *Infusion may be gargled or applied topically to the skin as required.
