Organic Road Coconut Flour is a deliciously nutritious alternative to wheat (gluten) flour. Delivering 19% of the recommended daily intake of dietary fibre per serve, coconut flour is also low in digestible carbohydrates, gluten free and carries a low GI rating. Made from fresh, environmentally sustainable organic coconuts.

In baked goods you need to substitute around 1/4 cup coconut flour for 1 cup traditional flour. As coconut flour is highly absorbent, you also need to increase the number of eggs or liquid. Coconut flour can be used to boost the protein and fibre content of your favourite recipes. Simply add 20% coconut flour to 80% traditional flour.
Try it for baking cakes, muffins, breads and biscuits. Add it to smoothies and porridges for added fibre. Great as a gluten-free thickening agent in sauces and gravies.
