For generations, Indigenous Australians have revered the Wilga tree for its medicinal properties. The leaves were traditionally used to alleviate pain, particularly toothaches, by numbing the affected area. Additionally, the leaves were employed in ceremonial practices to induce relaxation and drowsiness, highlighting the plant's calming effects. Wilga Loose Leaf Tea is natural herbal blend made from Wilga leaves, traditionally used by First Nations people for its powerful pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects.

We use the leaf of Wilga (Geijera parviflora), grown and harvested on our farm. It’s where the naturally occurring bioactives - including the local anaesthetic compound geijerin - are most concentrated.

Steep 1–2 teaspoons of dried leaf in hot water for 5–10 minutes, or gently simmer for a stronger cup. A longer brew releases more of the plant’s natural compounds.
