The Wilga pain rub contains a rich infusion of the Australian native Geijera Parviflora tree,  optimally brewed to encourage the product to be more powerful and beneficial.

Geijera Parviflora is well known medicinally for its anti-inflammatory compounds.  Traditionally used by Australian Aboriginals for pain relief and other ailments

Reports of local analgesia and bioactivity demonstrated in studies show that oils from select chemotypes of the Geijera Parviflora plant may be useful in topical antimicrobial applications for pain relief.  Extracts of the leaves have revealed the presence of saponins, triterpenoids and alkaloids. These compounds have a variety of pharmacological activities including anti-inflammatory, analgesics, local anaesthetic, pain relief, antimicrobial, antifungal and many other activities

The Plant is infused with locally sourced extra virgin olive oil. The certified oil is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants that promote skin flexibility, moisturising and anti-aging.

Locally sourced bees wax is used to combine the products together. Beeswax contains anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.  These qualities offer the perfect balance of nourishment to calm the skin, keep it clear and bacteria free, heal wounds and fight infection.
